Click events for presence

Send a real mouse click after each shake to reliably wake Slack, Teams, and Zoom.

What it does

When click events are on, Shake It On posts a real left-mouse-down / left-mouse-up pair at the cursor's resting position after each shake. Some presence systems only count clicks (not motion) toward 'active'.

How it works

After the cursor finishes its sine-wave path (or, in stealth mode, instead of moving), the engine posts a 30-millisecond click pair via CGEvent. macOS delivers the click to whatever's under the cursor.

Where to find it

Settings โ†’ Shake โ†’ Send a click to wake presence apps (Slack, Teams). The toggle has a warning footer noting that buttons under the cursor will be clicked.

When to use it

Turn it on if motion alone isn't keeping you 'active' on Teams or Slack. Park your cursor over a non-interactive area first (the desktop, an empty part of a window) so the click doesn't trigger anything.

Tips

  • Combine with stealth mode for invisible click-only behavior.
  • Keep your cursor parked on the desktop or a blank window to avoid accidentally clicking buttons.
